Jamaica's Jacqueline Williams will be one of the 12 umpires at the ICC Women's T20 World Cup in Australia later this month. This will be the 43 year old's second ICC T20 tournament after working in the 2018 edition in the Caribbean.
Williams' first match of the tournament will be the opener on February 21 between defending champions Australia and India in Sydney. Barbadian Gregory Brathwaite is the other umpire from the Caribbean that has been selected for the tournament. Six of the 12 umpires for the World Cup are women, which is a record for an ICC event.
