On the back of president of the Jamaica Boxing Board of Control president Stephen “Bomber” Jones suggesting the island was primed for success prior the COVID-19 pandemic, boxing promoter and director for Creative Sports, John Isaacs says an agreement with an international partner provides for something special before the year ends.
Isaacs heaped praises on the Ministry of Sports for seeking opportunities to fine tune sports resumption and explained that boxing enthusiasts can be encouraged by the prospects.
He revealed that a group of promoters from Los Angeles are planning a six week television show to be aired in areas of the United States with the live boxing action for those shows to take place in Jamaica before the end of the year.
Issacs added that young boxers should still be hopeful as his promotion company wants to transform the boxing industry to shadow one of island's most popular sports, track and field.
