West Indies women's captain Hayley Matthews says they will have to find ways to restrict India women, following a 115 run defeat in the second One Day International in Vadodara on Tuesday.
In what was another high scoring encounter for the Indians, they posted an imposing 358-5 off their 50 overs after electing to bat. Harleen Deol led the way with 115 off 103 balls.
Pratika Rawal also made 76, while Smriti Mandhana contributed 53 and Jemimah Rodrigues, 52. There was a wicket each for Deandra Dottin, Zaida James, Afy Fletcher and Qiana Joseph.
In reply, chasing a challenging 359 to win, the Caribbean women were bowled out for 243 in 46.2 overs.
Matthews led the way with 106 off 109 balls including 13 fours. She also shared in a 112 run 5th wicket partnership with Shemaine Campbelle who made 38.
James also made, 25 and Fletcher, 22. Jamaica's Rashada Williams went for nought, while big hitting veteran Deandra Dottin could only muster 10.
Priya Mishra took 3-49 for India's women who took an unbeatable 2-0 lead in the 3 match series. The third and final ODI will be played on Thursday at the same venue.
