Anthony Smith scored a hat-trick to help Munro College beat Maldon High 5-0 to advance as Group 4 winners to the round of 16 in the ISSA DaCosta Cup at Munro. Previous leaders Brown's Town were ousted 2-0 by Alphansus Davis.
Another group leader, Port Antonio bit the dust, as they were beaten 5-2 by Central High, who topped Group 6. Port Antonio needed a draw to advance. Dinthill followed Central High to the next round with an 8-0 win over Yallahs High.
Frome Technical and Ocho Rios High also made it through from Group 2 as the two ended 0-0. Black River High failed in their attempt despite a 6-1 win over Cedric Titus.
