There is still no clear idea when the West Indies women's team will be back in action, according to Cricket West Indies (CWI) CEO Johnny Graves.
With all regional tournaments called off due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Windies women players have not had the chance to play since being eliminated from the Twenty20 World Cup in Australia earlier this year.
Speaking with Radio Jamaica Sports, Grave says there has been no tours set for the Windies women even as the men's team is likely to play in New Zealand in October.
In the meantime, Grave says the lifting of restrictions on countries in the region will help in determining the likely return of regional cricket.
Following the Caribbean Premier League (CPL), players from the region will head to the Indian Premier League (IPL). The next tour for the West Indies men’s team is set for October in New Zealand.
