Outspoken regional commentator Vernon Springer is calling for better management of young West Indies fast bowler Shamar Joseph.
Springer says he’s not pleased with the frequency with which Jospeh is left out of the West Indies playing eleven.
Joseph shot to fame with a devastating spell against Australia, in the final test in Brisbane in January. He picked up 7-68 to lead the Caribbean team to an incredible 8 run win.
There are many who are calling for him to just focus on the longer version of the game. However, Springer was quick to shoot down that notion.
Joseph was left out of the starting eleven for the first One Day International against England which bowled off on Thursday.
