Jamaican-born Liverpool footballer Raheem Sterling said on Monday that despite opting to play for England instead of Jamaica he will still provide assistance to the island.
He said he chose to represent England as it will provide him with a better opportunity to progress.
Speaking with RJR Sports Sterling, who recently signed another major five-year contract with Liverpool FC said he intended to return to the island later this year where he will sponsor the basic school fee for all the children in his community.
The 18-year-old England player also disclosed an intention to establish football training school in Marverly in Kingston in the next three years.
