Returning Sunshine Girl Jok ready for upcoming South Africa challenge

Returning Sunshine Girls goal-shooter Shimona Jok, formerly Nelson, says she's up for the challenge following news that the team will be without their top two players in that position for the three match series against South Africa later this month. Jok last represented the Sunshine Girls at the 2022 Commonwealth Games.  

The Sunshine Girls are ranked third in the world, while the South Africans are 5th.

The series gets underway at the National Indoor Sports Center on Saturday, January 18 when both the Under 21 and senior teams of Jamaica and South Africa will be in action.

This second game will be on January 22 at the same venue before the final showdown on January 25.
