Sabina Park is set to have its own set of accommodation by 2019 according to president of the Jamaica Cricket Association (JCA) Wilford ‘Billy’ Heaven, who says the JCA has to seek alternative revenue streams.
“Our newest project that we are working on right now is what we call Sabina Inn which is accommodation at Sabina Park. We want it to be a three star facility and that in itself will earn income but will also save us expenses,” noted Heaven.
The Sabina Inn is to be built on the first and second floors of the George Headley Stands and Heavens says, the architectural plans have already been drawn up.
