Small field entered for first leg of SVL 2YO Triple Series

Report by RJRGLEANER Communications Group Sports Reporter Spencer Darlington

A small field of six runners will face the starter in Sunday's first leg of the prestigious Supreme Ventures 2 Year Old Triple Series at Caymanas Park.

Wayne DaCosta's bay colt Den Street who has already won twice, headlines the field for the $3.25 million Cash Pot Only One For Me Trophy for native bred entrants over 6 furlongs.

DaCosta will also send out Super Duper and Minature Man, both of whom have been beaten by Den Street.

Champion trainer Anthony "Baba" Nunes will present the pair of Santorini and Hoist the Mast, while the line-up is completed by Ian Parsard's maiden filly She's A Wonder.

Meanwhile, the usual $1 million bonus will once again be on offer to the owner of any horse which makes a clean sweep of the series. The second and third legs of the series are set for November 29 and December 27 respectively.
