Jamaica's Sunshine Girls who are still seeking their first victory, went down 56-39 to defending champions Australia in their first game on the second and final day of the Fast 5 Netball World Series in Christchurch, New Zealand.
The Jamaicans trailed 9-1; 29-12 and 42-26 at the end of the first three quarters and also lost the final stanza 14-13.
The Sunshine Girls will play their final preliminary round game against Uganda at 10:30 Saturday night Jamaica time.
The Sunshine Girls lost all three games they contested on the opening day, going down 39-19 to host nation New Zealand before being beaten 35-15 by England and 33-25 by South Africa.
