Super Cat to headline Verzuz 'ICONZ' concert series

Super Cat

Popular music series Verzuz will be taken over by dancehall legend Super Cat as part of its ICONZ concert series.

Super Cat's appearance follows the hugely successful dancehall battle between stalwarts Bounty Killer and Beenie Man.

The self-proclaimed "Don Dada" will hit the stage on October 16, live from the Barclays Center in New York.

Super Cat dominated the dancehall space in the late 80s and early 90s, releasing hit singles including Mud Up, Under Pressure, Boops and Ghetto Red Hot.

The Verzuz concert series will also see performances from Big Daddy Kane and KRS One on October 17.

The events will be broadcast on partner platforms Thriller and Fite TV.
