The Agro-Investment Corporation (Agro-Invest) and the National Fisheries Authority recently signed a memorandum of understanding that will facilitate the sustainable development and improvement of opportunities within the fishing industry.
This agreement will focus on the development of a 300-acre aquaculture agro park at Amity Hall in St. Catherine.
Under the terms of the MOU, Agro-Invest will facilitate the development of the project, while the Fisheries Authority will fund the design consultancy and the deployment of field offices.
