Amber Connect secures vehicle fleet deal with firm in Dubai

Amber Connect has signed a strategic partnership with SHIFT Car Rental in Dubai to deploy its AI-powered fleet management platform across 13,000 vehicles in the first phase of the company's UAE operations.

SHIFT operates under AWR Mobility, part of the AW Rostamani Group — one of the United Arab Emirates' largest diversified business groups with interests in automotive, logistics, financial services and technology.

Under the agreement, Amber Connect will provide predictive maintenance tools, driver safety analytics, fuel optimisation and real-time fleet intelligence. The system is designed to improve operational efficiency, reduce downtime and lower emissions.

Founder and CEO of Amber Connect, Dushyant Savadia, says the deal represents strong validation of Jamaican-built AI technology on the global stage.

The rollout marks one of the largest international deployments to date for the Kingston-founded tech company and underscores Jamaica's growing presence in advanced mobility and artificial intelligence exports.
