Financial consultant at the JN Foundation, Rose Miller, is urging Jamaicans to pay attention to their credit scores and ratings, while noting that a credit report can be obtained on demand.
Speaking in an interview on Radio Jamaica's Real Business on Friday, Ms. Miller stressed the proper management of credit to avoid delinquency and jeopardising their future access to affordable credit.
The JN Foundation financial consultant also urged Jamaicans to ensure that they repay their loans in full as well as on time, as this affects their credit score and their ability to get affordable credit.
Ms. Miller said those who hold credit cards must never maximise the limits as this will also affect their credit score and access to credit in the future.
