AMG Packaging and Paper looking to upgrade production operations amid dip in profits

AMG Packaging and Paper is moving to upgrade its production operations following a dip in profits.

The company says it will be bringing in an international expert to help modernise its core production equipment and facilities.

This comes as AMG reported net profits of $38 million for the first quarter of this year, a decline from $44.5 million during the same period last year.

Despite the dip in profits, revenues climbed by 8.5% to $262.9 million, up from $242.43 million.
