Bank of Jamaica
The Bank of Jamaica generated net profit of $7.53 billion for the period February 13, 2024 to February 12, 2025, according to its latest statement of assets and liabilities.
The bank's assets climbed from $1.1 trillion to $1.15 trillion during the review period.
This was mainly due to a jump in its foreign assets to $870.75 billion on February 12 this year, up from $755.1 billion on February 13, 2024.
The bank's local assets dipped to $283.99 billion during the review period, however, down from 301.96 billion dollars on February 13 last year.
