Bruce Bowen replaces Septimus Blake as CEO of NCBJ

The NCB Financial Group has announced another major leadership shake-up.

Former CEO of Scotia Group Jamaica, Bruce Bowen, has been appointed CEO of National Commercial Bank Jamaica (NCBJ).

He replaces Septimus Blake, who served NCBJ for more than 20 years.

The bank says "effective September 30, Mr. Blake's term as CEO will come to an end".

The news comes months after the NCB Financial Group announced major leadership changes to top management.

In July, NCB announced that Robert Almeida was appointed interim Chief Executive Officer for the Group, and Malcolm Sadler the interim Chief Financial Officer of NCB Financial Group.

Chairman of the NCB Financial Group, Michael Lee Chin, has called a press briefing for 6 p.m. Wednesday.
