Canada Jetlines has started flights to Jamaica.
The company started service from Toronto Pearson International Airport to Montego Bay on Saturday.
Canada Jetlines says the service will initially be twice weekly, on Saturdays and Sundays.
Come next year, a third weekly flight will be added.
Tourism Minister Edmund Bartlett says this new service will help the country reach its new target of 500,000 Canadian arrivals to Jamaica by 2025.
