CIBC Caribbean arranges US$500 million in sustainable finance

CIBC Caribbean says it has arranged more than US$500 million in sustainable finance for green activities so far this year.
 
During the Caribbean Investment Forum, CIBC Caribbean's Director of Investment Banking, Isabel de Caires, said this sum is in addition to commitments in excess of US$300 million.
 
CIBC Caribbean says these funds are critical to execute various projects linked to tourism and energy resilience.
 
Businesses across the region are clambering for more funds to assist with resilience and sustainable development.
