The old cotton banknotes have been replaced by new polymer notes.
The Bank of Jamaica is reminding that the cotton bank notes will be withdrawn from circulation on June 30 and replaced by the new polymer notes, effective July 1.
The BOJ, however, says there is an agreement which allows deposit-taking institutions to continue to accept the old cotton banknotes from their clients over the counter or electronically until the end of July this year.
