Four men were shot, one fatally, in Portmore, St. Catherine on Wednesday night.
The deceased, who is believed to be in his twenties remains unidentified.
Radio Jamaica News was informed that a recording artiste is among the other victims.
The shooting occurred about 10:20 p.m. in the gated community of Palms in Portmore.
It is reported that the men, who were travelling in a vehicle, stopped and were about to enter the community when a car with a group of men drove up.
Men inside the vehicle opened fire on the victims. All four were shot.
More than a dozen spent casings from a high-powered rifle were found at the scene.
The Portmore Criminal Investigation Branch is investigating the incident.
