Haiti, Jamaica the only Caribbean economies to decline last year

The Washington based International Monetary Fund says, aside from Haiti, the Jamaican economy was the only Caribbean economy to register a decline last year. 
 
Most Caribbean economies, which were also affected by hurricane Beryl, grew by between a low of 3.7% to 3.9% in the case of Grenada and Barbados to a high of 43% in the case of Guyana.
 
The Jamaican economy grew by 1.4% during the first quarter of the last calendar year, then by 0.2% during the second quarter before falling by 3.5 and1.8% during the third and fourth quarter
