Industry Minister Aubyn Hill is encouraging productivity training for the labour force, to foster production of more high quality value-added products and services.
Jamaica's productivity levels are among the lowest in Latin America and the Caribbean.
Mr Hill also acknowledged taht improvements in the quality of the country's physical infrastructure is important to increasing productivity levels, economic growth and exchange rate stability.
