The Statistical Institute of Jamaica is reporting that the unemployment rate was 3.6% in July and the underemployment rate was five per cent.
The country's data collections agency also says a total 1.46 million people were in the labour force during the month and the number of people employed stood at 1.4 million.
There were 52,600 among the unemployed in July while those outside the labour force numbered 694,200.
