The Jamaica Business Development Corporation says it will assist 500 small businesses this year to digitalize at least one core aspect of their operations.

The initiative will be supported by the European Union under the Digital Jamaica Project, managed by the Ministry of Industry, Investment & Commerce.

According to project manager Chantal Dormer, the areas for modernization include e-payments, payroll, human resources, e-commerce, invoicing, and vendor management.
