The JSE's Main Index jumped by 2,705 points on Monday, while the Junior Market Index fell by 24 points.
There was trading in 59 stocks: 26 advanced, 27 declined and 6 traded firm.
JMMB Group Limited 9.5% Preference Share was the volume leader, followed by Wigton Energy and TransJamaican Highway Limited.
