JSE Main Index rose 2,528 points on Monday

The JSE Main Index jumped by 2,528 points to close at 386,120 points on Monday, on a volume of 9.4 million units, valued at $89 million.

In contrast, the Junior Market Index fell by 40 points.

A total of 62 stocks traded; 29 advanced, 28 declined, and five traded firm.

TransJamaican Highway Limited was volume leader with 6.2 million units, or 66 per cent, followed by Wigton Energy Limited with 548,936 units or six per cent, and the JMMB Group Limited with 7.35% per annum cumulative preference share with 540,000 units or 5.7%.
