More companies list on the Junior Stock Exchange

The number of companies on the Junior Stock Exchange is set to increase to 10 with two more entities lining up to list their shares.

At least one of the firms will be added to the Exchange come next month.

“They are in the process of being reviewed and we expect that we will see those two listings within a couple of weeks,” said Marlene Street Forrest, General Manager of the Jamaica Stock Exchange.

The junior market which was established two years ago allows small and medium enterprises to raise capital through public offerings.
