NCB's net profit jumped by 21% last year

 
The National Commercial Bank Jamaica is reporting  that its net profit jumped by 21 per cent to $9.31 billion last year due to an increase in its net interest income - the difference between interest earned on loans and interest paid on deposits.
 
Interest earned on loans jumped by 12 per cent to $63.97 billion last year, up from $56.88 billion during the previous year.
