PROVEN Group has returned to profitability in the first quarter of its financial year, reporting net profit of US$8.2 million for the quarter ended June 30.
Profit improved by 415 per cent, moving from a US$2.6 million loss in the corresponding quarter last year.
Net operating revenue increased by 2.4 per cent, rising to US$16.8 million.
PROVEN also recorded an operating profit of US$3.5 million, along with a one-off gain of US$9.4 million from the partial disposal of Roberts Manufacturing Company.
For the financial year ended March 31, PROVEN reported a 6.2 per cent increase in net operating revenue over the previous year.
However, the company recorded a US$4.8 million net loss for that financial year, compared with a profit in 2025, citing elevated financing costs and non-recurring charges.
PROVEN says the first-quarter results provide further evidence of a recovery across its banking, investment and other business operations, as financing costs begin to ease.
