Scotia Jamaica Investments now controls 33 per cent of the collective investment scheme, or unit trust market, making it the largest player in the industry.
The company achieved this milestone after increasing its market share by six percentage points over the five-year period from December 2020 to December 2025.
Marie Lyn James, head of Investment Management at the company, says the firm is pleased to have become the country's leading collective investment scheme provider.
She adds that the achievement reflects the company's commitment to offering suitable investment solutions to clients and helping them grow their portfolios in a sustainable way.
