Seiveright touts opening of new KEMTEK building as sign of investor confidence

Delano Seiveright, State Minister in the Ministry of Industry, Investment and Commerce, says the opening of the KEMTEK building at 147-149 Constant Spring Road is another demonstration of investor confidence in the Jamaican economy.

Speaking at the opening ceremony on Wednesday, the state minister credited the government's consistent economic policies, fiscal discipline and emphasis on macro-economic stability.

According to him, this has helped to create an environment that is favourable to private sector investments, business expansion and job creation.

Mr. Seiveright congratulated the company's chairman, Dr. Sylvester Tulloch, and other directors, who are members of the same family, for the landmark development which falls in his constituency.

The KEMTEK Group, which was established in 1989, has undertaken 14 developments, delivering more than 5,000 housing solutions.

Its current projects include the 536 unit Mahoe Manor development in Bernard Lodge.

The company currently supports 600 employees, contractors and sub-contractors.
