Local supply chain company Smart Haves says it is offering structural planning services to manufacturers that help to reduce the cost of local manufacturers by 20 per cent.
The company says it can deliver predictable, affordable supply chain solutions at scale to members of the MSME sector in order to help them contain costs and to reduce prices to the final consumer.
George Smart, co-founder and chief executive officer of the company, said the COVID-19 pandemic and the Trump tariffs have led to a significant increase in price pressures on Jamaican businesses and by extension the consumers.
However, he said Smart Haves will be helping businesses to eliminate some of this supply chain pricing uncertainty.
