Tax Administration Jamaica will be rolling out its annual special assistance to taxpayers initiative across the island on Monday, February 3 as tax season moves into high gear.
Director of Corporate Communications at TAJ, Meris Haughton, says the assistance will be particularly useful to members of the small business sector as they prepare to file their annual returns for 2024/2025.
The Special Taxpayer Assistance Programme (STAP) is a key aspect of the TAJ's taxpayer support feature during tax season. Income tax filers will get assistance to prepare their business documentation for filing, as well as get registered to electronically file their returns.
The annual Income Tax due date is Monday, March 17.
