Tropical Battery Company has reported a return to profitability for the financial year ended September 30, 2025, driven by stronger revenue, improved operations and the impact of a major US acquisition.
In its audited financial statements, the company said gross operating revenue climbed 14.6 per cent to $6.44 billion, while net profit totalled $59.7 million.
This marks a significant turnaround from the $121.4 million loss recorded in 2024.
Tropical Battery credits the performance to the integration of Rose Electronics Distributing Company, which expanded its footprint in the United States.
The company also strengthened its balance sheet during the year.
An additional public offering generated about $643 million in net proceeds, which was largely used to reduce debt and improve liquidity.
Operationally, Tropical Battery increased its industrial charging capacity by 38 per cent, commissioned a new water production facility and exported 696 metric tonnes of spent batteries.
