Jamaica is positioning itself to become a serious contender in the US$3.6 trillion global AI market.
As a result, the University of Technology (UTech) and the Amber Group will be employing 100 data analysts to create or build out an AI lab at the university's Papine campus by September 1.
The lab will be utilising an innovative AI technology called Agnetic AI, which can act without constant human intervention and direction.
