The Jamaica Stock Exchange's Micro Market Committee has held its first meeting, as it begins work on developing a micro stock exchange.
The new exchange will give micro enterprises the chance to raise 10 to 50 million dollars from institutions and the general public, to help grow their business.
The micro exchange is expected to become fully operational by the end of this fiscal year.
