Three of the four men who were killed when they allegedly
engaged the police in a shoot-out in Wilton
Gardens popularly known
as "Rema" on Thursday, October 29, have been identified.
They are Rohan Palmer, 33, better known as "Baba G" of 78 Tivoli Court, Kingston; Theophilus Samuels better known as "Tamarlin," and Alphansus Green, 37, better known as "Jim", both of East Road in Kingston.
The fourth man remains unidentified.
Between 2 and 4.30 Thursday afternoon, the police and the army were on an operation in Rema when they reportedly came under heavy gunfire.
There was a shoot-out and the four men and a Jamaica Defence Force soldier were shot.
Three guns and a number of assorted rounds of ammunition were also reportedly seized.
