4.2 magnitude earthquake shakes several Caribbean islands; no immediate reports of damage

The Trinidad-based Seismic Research Centre of the St Augistine campus of the University of the West Indies announced that an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.2 was felt in several Caribbean countries this morning.

The tremor, which occurred at approximately 2 am, was felt in St. Vincent & the Grenadines, St Lucia and Barbados. 

There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries on any of the islands.

The earthquake followed one with a magnitude of 3.5 two days earlier, which rattled the islands of Dominica, St. Lucia, and the French island of Martinique.
