The Hanover Criminal Investigations Bureau has laid charges against 84 year old Roy Nesbeth for the murder of two women; his wife and an 80 year-old retired nurse.
Mr Nesbeth was charged after surrendering to investigators on the weekend.
Mr Nesbeth was charged on Sunday afternoon after he reportedly confessed to killing his wife, 73-year-old Teka Anderson-Nesbeth, and 80 year-old Patsy Allen.
Mrs Nesbeth was the caregiver for Ms Allen.
The two women were found dead hours apart in Grange district, Green Island, Hanover, on August 12.
The police had reported that Ms Allen was found by a family member in her Kendal home around 5:00 p.m. She had a stab wound to the neck.
Two hours later, Mrs Anderson-Nesbeth was found dead in her residence by a relative. She had been stabbed in the head.
Her husband went missing after the bodies were found, and initially there were concerns that he too might have been harmed. But, he surrendered to the police on Friday and confessed to killing the women.
Investigators theorise that Mr Nesbeth killed his wife after accusing her of cheating on him with a relative of Ms Allen and that she had planned to end their marriage.
He allegedly killed Ms Allen after accusing her of knowing about the affair and giving support to his wife in that matter.
