Louisiana's Attorney General says police have arrested a maintenance worker at a New Orleans jail for helping 10 inmates break out of the facility Friday.
According to reports, the worker, identified as Sterling Williams, was arrested on Monday night.
Mr. Williams is accused of turning off the water to the cell that was used for the escape, which involved removing a toilet from the wall.
He said an inmate threatened to attack him with a shank, meaning a makeshift knife if he did not help.
Three of the inmates who escaped the New Orleans parish jail were captured later the day and a fourth was apprehended Monday.
