The police are continuing their investigation of Sunday night's mishap in the Bog Walk Gorge in St Catherine, which resulted in the death of a motorist.
Noel Patterson, 65, was reportedly attempting to negotiate Flat Bridge when his Toyota Hiace truck fell into the river.
The incident occurred about 10:42.
The vehicle was removed from the water this morning.
