Antigua: PM condemns attempted assassination of former US President

Prime Minister of Antigua and Barbuda Gaston Browne has condemned the assassination attempt on former United States President Donald J. Trump, decrying all forms of violence against political leaders.

Mr Browne says it is central to representative democracy that politicians must be allowed to campaign without threats to their lives.

He says a personal message of good will will be sent to Mr Trump.
