Forty-six year old Nathan Brown, an assistant swim coach of the Jamaica Swim team, is booked to return to the Gun court, next month.
Mr. Brown was charged in connection with last year's robbery of more than two-and-a-half million dollars from the Empire Supermarket in Cross Roads, St. Andrew.
The charges include robbery with aggravation, illegal possession of a firearm, and shooting with intent.
Attorney-at-law, Olive Gardner, who's representing Mr. Brown, says her client appeared before Justice Leighton Pusey.
At today's mention, the investigating officer was not present.
A Police Liaison officer told the Court that the investigating officer was involved in another matter.
The court was also told that the ballistic report is outstanding.Justice Pusey then issued Mr. Brown with a February 9 return date.
According to reports, about 8:40 am, Saturday, August 27, two men, one armed with a gun, entered Empire Supermarket and robbed the establishment.
They escaped on a motorbike.
Police were reportedly early on the scene and the motorbike was intercepted at the intersection of Lyndhurst Road and Beechwood Avenue.
The assistant coach was held and cash amounting to two point six million dollars was reportedly seized from him.
The other suspect escaped with the firearm.
