Baby stolen from mother at Victoria Jubilee Hospital

There's now a frantic search at Victoria Jubilee Hospital for a baby who was reportedly abducted from a ward at the facility on Wednesday morning, hours after being born.

Investigators from the Kingston West police have been called in. They are now at the hospital interviewing the parents of the child.

The baby was reportedly abducted about 5 o clock.

This is the second time in less than a week that a child has been abducted at one of the country's hospitals. Last Friday a three week old child was abducted in the car park of Cornwall Regional Hospital in St. James.

The child was found two days later and the alleged abductor arrested.
