Barbados is no longer under significant threat from Tropical Storm Don.
This was announced Tuesday afternoon by the Barbados Meteorological Services.
The Tropical Storm Watch for the island has therefore been discontinued.
Tropical Storm Don is spreading heavy rain and gusty winds across the Windward Islands.
Strong wind gusts, flash flooding and mudslides are possible into Wednesday morning.
Don is then expected to dissipate in the southern Caribbean Sea.
