British man arrested for trying to smuggle ganja through airport

A British national has been arrested after he was caught attempting to smuggle more than 30 pounds of marijuana through Sangster International Airport in St. James on Wednesday.
 
The Narcotics police reported that the 62-year-old Briton, a forklift operator, was preparing to board a flight to Manchester, England, when he was stopped and searched.
 
Thirty-one pounds of ganja with a street value of £62,000 was found concealed in food items in his luggage.
 
He is to be questioned and charged.
