She is set to make her first public appearance this year on Saturday following the diagnosis, and her abdominal surgery in January.
But in a personal message, Catherine says she is not out of the woods and that her treatment will continue for another few months.
This is the most significant update on her health since revealing in March she had cancer, in a statement written in her own words.
