Sangster International Airport has confirmed that a woman died on Sunday at the airport, shortly after arriving.
The woman was reportedly being conveyed by a wheelchair agent who noticed that she was having an emergency.
The woman was taken to the nurse's station where the nurse and on-site Emergency Medical Team administered care.
The airport said, despite the best efforts of the response team, the passenger became unresponsive and was later pronounced dead by a medical doctor.
